The problem

Enterprise work-management platforms carry an unusual engineering bar: they are used all day, every day, by engineering, support and operations teams simultaneously, and any regression is immediately visible to paying customers. DevRev engaged DevionX on a contractual basis to extend capacity on their task-tracking and ticket-tracking product lines, which meant our engineers had to plug into an existing mature codebase, conventions and review culture and become productive without slowing the core team down.

How we built it

6 decisions
  1. Deployed a dedicated pod aligned to the client’s sprint cadence, ceremonies, definition of done and code-review standards rather than imposing a vendor process.

  2. Contributed to task-tracking and sprint-planning surfaces: work-item models, board and list views, filtering, assignment and workflow states.

  3. Contributed to ticket-tracking capability covering intake, triage, ownership, status progression and resolution workflows.

  4. Worked to an incremental delivery model, shipping in small reviewable increments against a continuously evolving production product.

  5. Maintained strict confidentiality and IP hygiene under NDA, with client-owned repositories, client-controlled environments and no cross-project code reuse.

  6. Sustained engagement from 2024 into an ongoing in-service relationship: the strongest available signal of delivery quality in a staff-embedded model.
